Scherman-Hoffman Century Run

The Greater Scherman Hoffman Century Run World Series of Birding Team is getting ready to go! Saturday, May 12th is The Big Day! Randy Little, past NJ Audubon board member, For the Birds author, and a master at recording bird songs for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology has been getting team members up to speed on birding by ear as well as by sight.

As he has every year since 1988, Randy will lead the team through the greater Scherman Hoffman area, including (via Special Use Permit) access to the off-limits management area of the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. We are hoping to meet or beat the team record of 102 bird species set in 2002 by Randy and co-leader Neil Collins.

Thank you for visiting our team page. We are happy to be participating in New Jersey Audubon's World Series of Birding.
