The 2nd Year Males

Welcome to the Second Year Male’s team page!

2018 will be our 4th year participating in New Jersey Audubon's World Series of Birding. Our team will again compete exclusively on Cape Island for the CARBON FOOTPRINT CUP by traveling exclusively by foot, bike or boat during the 24 hour competition. We will use this competition to raise donations in support of the Ryan DeWitt Memorial Trail at the Cape May Bird Observatory’s Northwood Center. This new trail is under development and will allow hundreds of Northwood Center visitors get up close to birds and native plants.

Meet our Team:

  • Josh Nemeth – is the owner & operator of The Wildlife Gardener he has been a birder since getting his first field guide and binoculars in 1986 and his goal for the WS is to be able to walk the next day.
  • Dustin Welch – works for The Wildlife Gardener and is our seasoned photographer.
  • Greg DeWitt – is our 'Ringer' this year, which means he's going to find something great for us.
  • Sam Stuart – works in Manhattan and looks forward to seeing more birds than people for a change.

Funds raised: $1,385 of $5,000
